Through the support of our UCR family, the amazing Sunday talks and workshops, and the power of prayer, our spirituality has grown to depths that we never imagined possible. Our two wonderful children have also grown spiritually at UCR and they love coming to church! Our whole family has been blessed by our experience at UCR. We are so grateful!

I have been a nurse for over 30 years and have practiced as a Certified Nurse-Midwife since 1992. I presently teach in the Graduate Division of the College of Nursing at East Carolina University. My husband and I are originally from Westchester County, New York. I first came to North Carolina when I attended Duke University as an undergraduate student and decided to make this beautiful state my home. I am passionate about women’s health and am grateful to have the opportunity to teach and learn so much from my wonderful students.
I grew up in a small and intimate Episcopal church and subsequently enjoyed being a part of several denominations before Unity Church of Raleigh called me home. I love the sense of community and positive energy at UCR. The light and love of God is apparent in everyone and in everything at UCR. Since joining UCR, I have been participating on the Prayer Team and Hospitality Team, and I currently serve as an usher and as co-leader of the Caring Hearts Team, our amazing in-reach ministry. I live in North Raleigh with my husband, Julian, and my son, Paul. I enjoy gardening, yoga, reading, cooking, and browsing through antique stores.
