Migrant Workers's Dinner Photos
Unity Church of Raleigh's Annual Service Project
July 27, 2008
Each year Migrant Workers com into the area to work in the fields.
The workers live in humble conditions as they earn money for their families.
A collective effort from the faith community provides
- a worship service
-food
-and medical care once a week.
On Sunday, July 27th, a group of dedicated volunteers from Unity Church of Raleigh drove to St. Bernedettes Church in Fuquay- Varina, NC. They donated food and time to help provide a wonderful dinner to the workers.
A big thank you to Lou and Ginny for their great passion and leadership for this project of love and compassion.
