A Positive, Uplifting Spiritual
Rev. Bev was our foundational speaker for 18 months prior to our inviting her to be with us full-time. Her messages are uplifting, authentic, intelligent, empowering and steeped in Unity Principle and Metaphysical Bible. She is a veteran New Thought minister with a message and ideas that inspire our community. She has co-facilitated the 4T class and our New Home Visioning sessions and has launched
a slate of exciting programs and classes, including classes like the Horizons Unlimited Prayer/Reading group, Lessons in Truth, and our Spiritual Social Action Team.
Rev. Bev has a long history with Unity and roots in UCR. She discovered Unity in 1981 and began taking classes both at Unity Village and UCR for credit. She was ordained in 1994 through New Seminary in New York as an inter-faith minister. In the late 1990s she was ordained in the Bachelors program of the University of Metaphysics. She received a Masters in Metaphysical Science in 2003 and is now working on her doctorate. She has studied many avenues of New thought including: Science of Mind, Yogananda's work, the Ascended Masters Discourses, Joel Goldsmith, Emmet Fox, Alice Bailey and many others. She has presented at and supported Unity churches throughout the Triangle area, including Unity of the Triangle, Unity Center of Peace in Chapel Hill and Unity of Durham, Cary and Pittsboro. She has also been a guest speaker at Unity of Wilmington and Unity of Chattanooga.
But, her most important qualification is that she loves us, she sees us for who we are: a dynamic, loving, thriving community on the grow. But, we're not talking about just a growth in numbers, but the more-important growth in consciousness, a powerful spiritual transformation that can't help but change us--and change everyone we come into contact with. Rev. Bev comes to us energized and enthused about our New Story. We are thrilled that she is going to help us write the next chapter!
