Prayer deepens our connection with the living, loving presence of God-inspiring, comforting,
guiding, healing and celebrating ourselves and our lives.
Prayer is a way of life, a way to move through life with peace in our hearts. Prayer is a tool,
which we use to build our awareness of God within us and all around us - and to bring ourselves
closer to God. And it is this awareness of God's presence that keeps us poised and centered in
times of challenge.
"Prayer is as necessary to happy and successful living as breathing is to physical
bodies."
- Mary L. Kupferle, The Light Will Dawn
In the quiet of prayer, I claim the love and peace that are mine.

Prayer Before Service
***Attention***
Prayer will be in our Prayer Chapel starting at 9:50 am.
All Are welcome
The Prayer Between Services creates a safe space for each person to establish conscious
contact with Spirit and experience an increased awareness and power, knowing that Spirit is
working in and through them.
Noon Prayer
Tuesdays and Thursdays
All Are Welcome
"Step off the wheel" and consciously rest in the presence of God. Often a small group,
this is an opportunity to request specific prayer support or simply experience Unity's
affirmative prayer and be renewed in the "Silence." Come and be spiritually renewed.
Prayer Team
7 p.m., 1st Thursday of each month.
All Are Welcome
With a commitment to deepen the connection to Spirit through prayer, this dedicated group
reads, studies and prays together, as well as supports the church's prayer needs and special
events.
Prayer Chaplain
Our Prayer Chaplain is available to pray with you in need or celebration before and after
each service. The mission of our Unity Chaplains is to hold spiritual space, listen with
their hearts (holding in confidence what is shared), and to pray with others.

Prayer For Abundance
Prayer For Abundance
by Rev. Deborah Olive
Breathe deeply the rhythms of life, of earth … of action and rest
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Feel the ebb - the flow.
Experience and know the rhythm of life.
The give. The take.
Take time off the wheel.
Take your hand from the plow,
and let God and the earth care for things,
while you drink from the fountain of rest and delight.
Listen to what is most deeply beautiful, nourishing or true.
Become still. Become still … and know God.
Living, Loving God … we rest in
The depth of Your peace
The vastness of Your love
The richness of Your abundance
The awesome gift of Your wisdom.
We take refuge in You.
Make Your home in me as I make mine in you.
So … we become still and in the space of infinite possibility,
we declare our consciousness of abundance,
offering gratitude and thanksgiving for all the good we see
and all the good we do not see
Thank you God, that we live "in the flow"
Thank you, God for the faith that reveals our good
Thank you, God for Divine Ideas, the currency of the Universe
Thank you God, for generosity and the desire to make a difference in our world
Thank you God, for all good gifts.
And where we do not yet see abundance
Sweet, sweet Spirit, move in and through us - to heal us at depth.
Wherever there is fear, God, grant us faith.
Where there is a sense of separation,
grant that we might know our oneness
May all sense of lack or limitation be swept away
So … we might heal at depth
We easily and joyfully give what is ours to give
Time, talent, treasure
We know that all we need is right here
and that we are a mighty magnet attracting our good.
We are open and receptive to enough and more than enough
We accept all the good You have for us
In spirit and in truth
Physically, mentally and emotionally
We accept it easily and gracefully.
Sweet, sweet Spirit, You are abundance and delight
I need only remember that I am made in Your image and Your likeness
I am the light of the world
I am endowed with strength, faith and wisdom
And in the silence, I listen for your guidance for myself and my community
Silence
Thank you, God.
This is an abundant world.
Thank you, God.
I am refreshed and renewed.
I live in happiness and peace.
A spirit of gratitude opens our hearts ... so we say,
"Thank you, Thank you, God.
Thank you, God." Amen.
