Unity Church of Raleigh believes in prayer, taking care of each other, and taking care of the community beyond us. Read more about each of these ministries below.
Unity Church of Raleigh is a praying community. Our Prayer Team’s mission is to hold spiritual space, listen with open hearts (holding in confidence what is shared), and to pray with others. Prayer Request forms are available in the sanctuary, email , or call (919) 870-7364.
Our Prayer Chaplain program consists of dedicated volunteers who are professionally trained in Unity thought. They are available for Spiritual Counseling and other pastoral support on a love offering basis. Your request is always held in confidence and love. For more information, email or call (919) 870-7364.
Oneness Blessing - This calming, meditative experience expands the heart, quiets the Monkey Mind and enhances our connection with the Source of All, filling us with joy in the present, sacred moment. Join us for this beautiful blessing service offered by our initiated, trained Blessing givers every first Sunday.
Our music ministry at UCR is non-traditional, upbeat, and contemporary, performing many original songs written by our “Uh-Huh” band members and soloists. The Unity Singers also periodically provide the gift of music by sharing their voices on special occasions.
Caring Hearts Ministry
It is our joy to give nurturing support and comfort to our UCR spiritual family in challenging times. We provide cards, home-cooked meals, phone calls, and visits, upon request. We also provide a list of Community Resources if additional support is needed. Contact the office to request support or complete a Caring Hearts Request form found in the sanctuary.
CORE (Community Outreach) Ministry
Reaching out to help others is very important to us. We plan a different project each month to support various organizations beyond our congregation.
Our Dave and Rebecca Rowson are long-time missionaries to Rusinga Island in Kenya. UCR actively supports these children, most of whom are disabled and/or orphaned.
